We write about art, literature, music, as well as cultural and religious history: anything from Dante’s Divine Comedy, to the history of the Eternal City of Rome, to the mathematical beauty that underpins all classical music.
Make sure to join our bi-weekly book club. Our group is working slowly through the greatest works of the Western canon, from Homer to Hemingway, in dialogue with each other. We are tackling the books, epic poems, and plays that tackle the big questions of morality, meaning, and the human condition — the texts that represent major stepping stones in the journey of Western thought.
